 For me, it all started with (what I thought) was a fantastic promotion. One of the best opportunities I had been given. Finally, my chance to shine. I had been in the same place for a few years, and my hard work, perseverance, and dedication finally proved commendable! I was now the practice manager! I was offered so much! Was offered tuition to take classes, to aid the doctor more and in the long run give me way more to do. But, I was up for any challenge!

My pay went from $13/hr-about 35 hrs a week to $20/hr and a serious increase in hours. I was immediately working 80, 90 hrs a week plus! .. The comments started-"WOW you look see-xy today", (licking lips) "whew, my God!" Blocking me in in my office area, etc  (small office less than 5 employees). After months of telling him to quit, he was sat down. Non-confrontational, told him I am uncomfortable by these words, actions. Please stop, etc.  Immediately, the retaliation began! No longer was any of my ideas, opinions, actions validated. Everything I did was then questioned, as with my integrity. I was on call 24/7 to him. Every answer I gave was ridiculed or made fun of.  I was treated as nothing more than a pretty face- oh the harassment got worse, and the treatment did as well, almost measurably worse by the day! Little by little things were taken from me-my tuition has been refused, my pay got cut to a "salary" by 75% of what it was- more duties were added to my plate (I was already short staffed by 4 and doing all of that as well), with refusal to pay for that as well Extra people were brought into secret meetings held to try and find ways to force me out and damage my reputation. 

I reached out to an attorney @$195 for almost a half hour session to find where my rights were. Not two weeks later I was fired, for every excuse that could be made up. I was never wrote up. I was never talked to about any said reasons for the termination. I was doing 5 people's jobs and doing them so well might I add patients were reviewing me instead of the doctor himself on websites made for physician review. I saved him from an IRS shut down and close to 100k/year in salary, not to mention the bills I made sure to pay, and all the aid to him in creating opportunities etc. to be terminated and lied about constantly, including to be able to get my worked for earned unemployment benefits. I have had 3 job interviews within the first 10 days of being "not employed", all of which I'm well qualified for, and haven't since heard back! He left me with 0 ways to support my family in any way, all because I wouldn't give in to his sexual advances and as he called it, "compliments"
