This is just from one poll I found on google! The poll found that..all told 33 MILLION U.S. women have been sexually harassed- and 14 MILLION sexually abused- in work related episodes.

Nearly all women-95%- report that male perpetrators of such abuse usually go unpunished.

Despite wider awareness, this remains prevalent to alarming degrees. #WhatAboutMe

THE HARD TRUTH

How many of us are harassed, bullied, demeaned, retaliated against, then terminated-to never have been heard? That have been completely violated and left behind.

In my state, attorney's have to follow a protocol with these types' of cases. This being, the State board of Human Rights has to be filed with first. Upon the findings of their investigation, is when you know IF you can file a suit or not. It feels as if everywhere I turn, someone is trying to quiet my voice. I cannot accept that defeat. I want to stand up against all of these (self induced) "king pin" bosses'"politicians" "important" " I matter and you don't"people. In my situation, I was cut off from any access to defend myself and get anything I deserved, even another position to support my family, or the unemployment benefits I have worked for and contributed to. If I don't have any means to even pay a bill, how am I going to get any attorney to fight for me? Not to mention the almost 10k I am owed from said employer from unpaid wages, and overtime. Unpaid PTO, I again earned, the tuition I only have because of him that he just started refusing to pay. He put me in a situation to where I couldn't fight back.! We all deserve a voice! Not just the ones who have that cushion, or are already established! Most are too afraid, or like me put in a situation that very much limits then to do so, but if we all come together, we CAN make a difference, one case at a time, until this becomes so known and so unacceptable that is stops completely.
